Rosa corymbifera Borkh.

Flora Europaea Ph, shrub, 2n=35, pentaploid a mesoxeric shrub with the same range and ecology (?) as Rosa canina, from the steppe zone up to the boreal belt western Palearctic Prunetalia spinosae, Quercetalia pubescentis R3121, R4160-4163 habitats     A western Eurasian frequent species but which seems to appear as isolated individuals within the Rosa canina populations. Maybe only a variety of this latter one? North of Podeni, Cluj county, in insular thickets with Crataegus monogyna and Rosa canina around 46 26 16 28 N / 23 39 16 42 E, october 2009. dr.
